The flight itself was comfortable. The seats were decently sized for economy class, and I appreciated the ample legroom. While it wasn’t the most spacious I’ve experienced, it was definitely better than some other European carriers I’ve flown with. The in-flight entertainment had a good selection of movies and TV shows, which helped pass the time. One downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t free, which can be a bit of a letdown if you're used to other airlines offering it at no extra charge.
As for the food, it was okay. It’s typical airline fare—nothing gourmet, but it was decent for a short-to-medium haul flight. The flight attendants were attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed, and the overall service was professional.
One of the things I really liked about Austrian Airlines is their emphasis on safety and comfort. They gave clear instructions in multiple languages, and the cabin was clean and well-maintained.
The only area where I think they could improve is the entertainment system on long-haul flights. For a long flight, I think having a wider range of movies or even charging for Wi-Fi could have made a big difference.
